Sydney, July 2017: The AirRoad Group is proud to announce that we have been recognised for 20 years of continuous certification to ISO 9001 by SAI Global. This follows an earlier milestone when we were amongst the first in the industry to be certified to the revised 2015 version of the same international standard.
ISO9001 is the world’s most widely recognised and accepted international quality management system and helps organisations meet the expectations of their key stakeholders. It also enables businesses to drive continuous improvement as part of their learning approach. Quality is a cornerstone of AirRoad’s business philosophy and its overall mission to Deliver Certainty to clients and their customers.
Malcolm Thorpe, Group Managing Director believes that AirRoad’s quality focus is what helps differentiate it from their competitors. AirRoad’s Quality Management System covers its national distribution activities with DIFOT (Delivery in Full & On Time) performance reporting and the provision of logistics services. Detailed reports showing AirRoad’s delivery performance by zones, postcodes, receiver and other relevant criteria are made available for clients to see online. Split deliveries are treated as a non-conformance, thus re-enforcing AirRoad’s commitment to deliver all consignments in full.
The certification covers all of AirRoad’s depots in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide.
